What structure is for
Why relational work often needs more careful structure, not less.
Structure has a bad reputation in relational work. It gets treated as the opposite of warmth — the agenda that interrupts the conversation, the ground rules that make a room feel managed rather than met. I understand where that reputation comes from. Badly built structure does exactly that.
