On the patience that honest repair asks of everyone involved.
Trust breaks quickly. A missed commitment, an unkind word said under pressure, a decision made without the right people in the room — any of these can undo months of careful relationship-building in a single afternoon. Repair does not work on the same timescale. It never has, and treating it as though it should is one of the more common ways repair fails.
